Cies Islands
The Cíes Islands are a protected natural space with a great diversity of flora and fauna. Located in the Vigo estuary, they are a paradise for bird watching and enjoying their white sandy beaches. Their viewpoints offer a view of the cliffs and emblematic points of the surroundings.
In this spot, Atlantilus is installed with all modules: Cameras, Weather station and Photometer. In addition, it has the communications module and the renewable energy module with solar panels.
Spot funded by the European Union-Next GenerationEU for the years 2022 and 2023 as part of the Aid in the socio-economic influence area of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia under the spanish Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
